I have worked in Animation and Illustration for over 30 years and take great pride in my art and in my diversity as an artist. Some of my work includes working in development on background styles for The Emperor's New Groove, and The Little Match Girl. I have also painted backgrounds for Disney Feature Animation including The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Hercules and Mulan, as well as painting backgrounds for many other studios including Hanna Barbera, Rich Animation, Turner Entertainment, Nickelodeon Animation, Sony Animation, and Wild Canary Animation. I am formally trained in traditional art, and I am also fascinated with the infinite variety that the digital technology brings to the artist. This fascination has led me to my 3D texturing, modeling, lighting and rendering work on Disney's Home On The Range, Nickelodeon's The Penguins Of Madagascar, and Monsters Vs Aliens. I am always honing my skills as an artist, whether it be traditional life drawing, digital Plein Air painting on my iPad, or modeling in Maya, to name a few. I work very hard to perfect my art, to be as cutting edge as possible.
